The plans and specification have been approved by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.  The project is being funded with a low interest rate loan and some loan forgiveness.  Alternative funding sources are still be researched.  Improvements include a new well, replacement of the main line from the springs to the reservoir, upgrading fire hydrants and upgrading 4" distribution lines to 6".

The project has been recently completed except for a small section of railing that is being manufactured that will be placed along the river bank on the West side of the bridge.  The city is working on a project to paint the railing on the neighboring traffic bridge and also rock the concrete pillars on the traffic bridge to match the ones on the pedestrian bridge.  Mayor and City Council are working on plans to construct a wider pedestrian bridge for the South side of the traffic bridge.  Rock and lighting fixtures are being purchased for the future south side bridge so that everything will match and be uniform.
                        ADDITION PROJECT
The city is working with Alderson, Karst & Mitro Architects, P.A., to design an addition to the station for an onsite training center and office.  Alternative funding will need to be obtained to construct the addition.  The consultants are also working with the city to research funding assistance opportunities for the project.
