Looking for a volunteer opportunity?
Bannock County Board of Community Guardians needs your help! You can make a difference in the life of a county resident.

On May 19, 2015, there will be a special revenue bond election.  Voters will vote on authorizing the city to incur an indebtedness and to issue and sell its revenue bonds in an amount not to exceed $4,500,000 to pay the cost of acquiring and constructing improvements and betterments to the domestic water system facilities of the city.  Improvements include a new well, replacement of the main line from the springs to the reservoir and upgrading 4" distribution lines to 6".

The city has received an Idaho Community Choice grant to construct a pedestrian bridge on the North side of the traffic bridge.  Engineering on the project will be completed in 2015 and construction will be completed  after Labor Day in 2016.
                        ADDITION PROJECT
The city is working with Alderson, Karst & Mitro Architects, P.A., and Southeast Idaho Council of Governments to design an addition to the station for an onsite training center and office.  The consultants are also working with the city to research funding assistance opportunities for the project.
