WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The city is currently negotiating a contract with Keller Associates to design the water improvement project.  The city has been approved for a loan through the Division of Environmental Quality at a low interest rate with some forgiveness to fund the project.  Alternative funding sources are still be researched.  Improvements include a new well, replacement of the main line from the springs to the reservoir and upgrading 4" distribution lines to 6".

EAST MAIN STREET PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE PROJECT
The city has received an Idaho Community Choice grant to construct a pedestrian bridge on the North side of the traffic bridge.  Engineering on the project will be completed in 2015 and construction will be completed  after Labor Day in 2016.

    FIRE STATION REMODEL/TRAINING CENTER
                        ADDITION PROJECT

The city is working with Alderson, Karst & Mitro Architects, P.A., and Southeast Idaho Council of Governments to design an addition to the station for an onsite training center and office.  The consultants are also working with the city to research funding assistance opportunities for the project.
