LAVA HOT SPRINGS
WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The City of Lava Hot Springs is currently working with Keller Associates to complete a Water Facilities Planning Study.  The study is being done to identify needed improvements on the water system.  The aging main transmission line is needing to be replaced and several lines need to be upgraded to meet required fire flows.  Once the study is completed the information will be presented to citizens at public meetings.

EAST MAIN STREET PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE PROJECT
The city has received an Idaho Community Choice grant to construct a pedestrian bridge on the North side of the traffic bridge.  Engineering on the project will be completed in 2015 and construction will be completed  after Labor Day in 2016.

    FIRE STATION REMODEL/TRAINING CENTER
                        ADDITION PROJECT

The city is working with Alderson, Karst & Mitro Architects, P.A., and Southeast Idaho Council of Governments to design an addition to the station for an onsite training center and office.  The consultants are also working with the city to research funding assistance opportunities for the project.
